A Word Concerning The Shaking

Dear Revival-Fire Church Family,

As I was seeking the Lord early this morning, He gave this word for His people. This word concerns the “shaking” that He has been speaking of over time & we are beginning to see happening all over the world & in our daily lives. He wants us to understand what is happening & what we are to do as the shaking continues. Please open your hearts & receive His word of encouragement, exhortation & comfort!

BEGIN PROPHETIC WORD
“I come to you My people…the people of My very heart…with words to help you…for I love you with an everlasting love. I have looked down onto you & have seem many of you wrestling with things that you didn’t wrestle with before…I see the discouragement…I see the confusion…I see the disappointment. As I look at you, many have wondered “why” they are going through the things that they are…why are not things seeming to get any better…why does my life seem to pale in comparison to what I see in others…why, why, why? My people…do you not see what is happening? Do you not understand what you are going through? How is it that you grasp not My words of life, that would free you?

For I have warned you many, many times over the past many months that the shaking would come. I have told you so that you could prepare yourselves to go through this time. Somehow many of you do not seem to hear what I have been saying. For many of you have taken My words regarding “shaking” & interpreted them to mean a shaking according to you own understanding, not realizing that the shaking that is coming is something that you have never known. For even in what you are seeing & feeling now, this is not received as what I said it would be…for many of you have not ran with My words & truly applied them to your lives, that you might stand strong through this time, in Me.

The shaking has begun, My people & with this shaking there will be times of good things! It is not just a time of refining…for it is a time for My people to become more like Me. Do you not see that as these things come upon you, they are only come to help you in your walk with Me? Have you forgotten that you must keep your face set on Me? For many of you do not realize that the things going on in your lives have distracted you from what really matters. For just like the precious song does say…as you will turn your eyes upon Me & look into My wonderful face, the things you are seeing there on Earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of My glory & grace…then all well be well in Me.

I need you all to see this…for as long as you will let the things that are happening in your life deter your faith, you will not be able to seek Me on the level that I desire for you to be. Remember the saints of old…they stood strong in My promises…not having even received the promises, but having seen them afar off, they were persuaded of them & embraced them…unto death. I have given unto you exceeding precious promises, that by them, you may partake of the divine nature…how is it that you are letting such simple & benign things affect your walk with Me? I have commanded you to stand fast in the LIBERTY in which Christ has made you free…this is where you are suppose to dwell!

You are not to be entangled with any yoke of bondage…that is not My desire for you! No, My desire is for you to stand strong in your Lord & in the power of His might! Remember…you can only have one Lord & Master…no man can serve two masters! I need you to see that as the shaking continues, that you recognize that I am shaking everything that can be shaken…not just in the world…but even more so in My people…for I am bringing you to the place that you will be able to withstand the trials that are ahead. You must free yourselves from the attachments that are gripping you & deterring you from standing strong in your faith in Me…for this is necessary for your victory in Me.

I need My people to keep their eyes fixed on what I am doing & not be moved by what they see happening in their personal lives or around them. I need you to trust in Me with all your heart, so you will not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, you are to acknowledge Me, so I can direct your paths. This is difficult for you, when the things on Earth seem stronger to you than the things of Heaven! My people cannot gauge their lives according to the natural senses…My people must gauge their lives only according to what I have told them. Take hold of My commandments & walk with Me. Know that I will never leave you nor forsake you…you must never, forget that I will also never fail you.

My people, I need you to truly enter into My rest…this is something that must be done all the time. Not once a month…not once a week…not once a day…not even once an hour…no, no, no…you must enter into My rest always…you must stay there every minute & every second. For if you do not do this, the enemy will attempt to detract you with the things that surround you & get your eyes looking onto that which is temporal…instead of maintaining your fix onto that which is eternal. I truly love you, My people & desire good things in your lives. Do not fear…there are good things ahead for you. You just keep looking unto Me & not to the world…you will not be disappointed, says the Lord”.
END PROPHETIC WORD

We thank the Lord for His wondrous love for us…He truly cares for us as we go through this increasing time of shaking! We are not to fear what is coming…just keep our eyes fixed on Him. He has us in the palm of His hand & we are safe in Him. We must trust Him to take care of us & not get distracted by anything that may come our way. He is faithful…He has never let us down! I know that some may feel that this isn’t true & I will admit that there have been times that I have thought the Lord let me down too…but soon after I came to realize that it wasn’t Him that let me down…it was me who let Him down…for I put my attentions on what I thought was important. When He showed me this, I repented to Him with tears.

If any of you have ever felt this way, please let the Lord heal your hearts. He is always faithful…His wisdom is past our natural understanding. Only as we will humbly seek Him will we be able to understand the “whys” & “how comes” that our lives seem to find along the way. May He bless you greatly as you continue to seek Him!

Lord, as we seek you completely, giving our “all” unto You…please grant us an increased capacity to enter into your rest. We only want to be like You, Lord…in Jesus’ wonderful name we pray…amen!

Happy Resurrection Sunday 2017!!!

All around the world many are remembering the Resurrection of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. This year as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord & Savior, we need to truly be aware of what He has done for us. To some this day is only a mere ritual…to some this day is a time of reflection of what He had done for us over 2000 years ago & celebrate that blessing. But to a small remnant, it is a reminder that we need to desperately seek for Him to truly be Lord of our lives. Rom 6:16  says: “Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” This is a staggering statement!

When Jesus died on the Cross, He paid for our sins & we deeply thank Him for such a great sacrifice! If we would take the time to understand what it meant for Him to do that for us…the truth there is mind-boggling…the torture & mutilation that He endured is horrible! Back in the 1970s, as a young Christian we were at a local Bible Book store & I saw an “artist’s conception” of what Jesus looked like after He was scourged & hung on the Cross. All I can tell you is, He looked like living human “hamburger”. But, our Lord didn’t stop there…yes, He paid for the sins of mankind with His death, but when God raised Him from the dead, He gave something extraordinary…He gave us our justification: Rom 4:25  says: “Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification”. As we believe on Him powerful forces are put into play that we MUST apply to our lives.

Our walk as Christians is not just some religious “hobby” or “social club”…it is suppose to be life changing! Rom. 6:5  says: “For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection”. This speaks of our dying to self…something that not many Christians truly ever wish to embrace, but it is vitally important to our walk with God. Paul said in 1 Cor. 15:31: “…I die daily”. Jesus said we are to “take up our cross daily & follow Him” (Lk. 9:23). Someone might ask…”why am I sharing these things? This day is “suppose” to be our time to celebrate His resurrection!” Yes, it is…it is time that we celebrate His resurrection as He intended us to.

Many will say they want to “know the Lord”….they want the power of God in their lives…they will say they want the anointing of God upon them. Yes, these are all very good things…things that God truly desires each of us to walk in! But, there is a cost! Remember again…Phil. 3:10  says: “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death”. So what is the cost? It is our “surrendering unto Him”. If we desire to see the power of His resurrection manifesting in our lives, we MUST be willing to be made conformable to His death…in other words…we must die to self.

This Resurrection Sunday, we need to put things in their proper perspective…Jesus didn’t die on the Cross just so our sins would be forgiven & stop there…no, He died so He would then be resurrected…it was for our sake! His resurrection made it possible for us to be like Him, because He was raised for our “justification”. What does justification\ justify mean? Well, some have looked at it this way….”just as if I”- never sinned. This is good, but it actually means “acquittal”…ie, “not guilty”. This makes it possible for us to become like Him. But, it is up to us to apply His resurrection to our lives. We can take hold of His power & run with Him, allowing to conform us to His image, by surrendering our lives unto Him…or we can just take His resurrection for granted & see no real change in our lives.

Lets make this Resurrection Sunday impact our lives in a life-changing, world-changing way…for if we will surrender our all unto Him, He will use us to change this lost & dying world. He is looking for those who will be open, available & obedient. We can ALL do that…we just have to make the decision & go forward! Now, as we begin to walk this out the enemy is not going to make things easy for us…that is why He said “take up your cross DAILY & follow Me”. Like the Apostle Paul, we must be resolved in our hearts to…”I die daily”. Does this mean we are to live out our lives in misery, never enjoying anything again? No, not at all…it just means we are to surrender to the Lord the things that He deems unpleasing unto Him. The word “I” in the Greek here means “ego”, ie, “pride”…we must die to our pride…enough said!

When Jesus walked on this earth, He enjoyed life, He laughed, ate good food, did things like most anyone…He did what most people would expect. He didn’t walk around all gloomy & discouraged about His life…& He knew He had been born to die a tragic death! His life is our model to follow. We can BE like Him…we just need to take that first step…be open to Him…to His will. Then take the next step…be available for Him to speak into our lives about the things He wants us to do. Then we must follow through & obey what He has said. That is what He did when He walked this earth. All 3 of these require take we subdue our “pride”. Jesus only did what He saw His Father do & only spoke what He heard His Father say:

John 5:19: “Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things soever he does, these also does the Son likewise”.
John 8:28: “Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
John 12:49 He said: “For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak”.
John 12:50 He said: “And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak”.

We can learn to do the same! Let’s celebrate His Resurrection as He desires…let this be our prayer today:

“Heavenly Father, help us to see Your life as You desire us to see it. Help us to experience Your resurrection power…now today…as we choose to know You intimately in our lives. Help us to deny ourselves & take up our cross daily & follow you, that we may surrender ourselves completely to You…one step at a time…one day at a time. We choose You, Lord! Please, make us like You! In Jesus’ wonderful name we pray, amen!”
